FLYFORD Flavell produced an outstanding team display on a baking hot day at Peopleton.
They got off to a good start against hostile bowling from Willitts but then slumped to 42-3.
However, Steve Beavan joined Mark Walker at the crease to forge the partnership of the match.
Walker (95 not out) kept the scoreboard rolling, while Beavan played himself in before unleashing the boundaries.
The pair set a new club record partnership of 225 until Beavan was run out for 101 in the last over.
In reply, Peopleton faced an uphill task once they lost Thompson and Walker.
Flyford fielded well as Clive Izod (4-14) helped dismiss them for 135.
