SIXWAYS was treated to a 13-try thriller on Sunday afternoon as Worcester Warriors Women beat Wasps 55-28 in their Allianz Premier 15s clash at Sixways.
Ffion Lewis, Jemima Moss and Victoria Laflin all crossed for Warriors inside the opening 13 minutes to lead 21-7, before tries from Carys Phillips and Evelyn Clarke extended that lead.

But Katie Dougan, Rebecca Ball and Andrea Stock responded for the visitors to keep them in the game at the break.
Warriors then ran away with it in the second period as Tamzin Bricknel, Laflin, Carys Cox and Lana Skeldon completed the rout. Wasps' Helene Caux did manage to touch down for Wasps late in the game to secure their first point of the 2022/23 season.Β

The win moves Worcester into sixth in the Allianz Premier 15s table but also ended a run of four straight defeats.
Jo Yapp's side have suffered some rather hefty losses in recent weeks, shipping 50+ points in back-to-back games against Bristol Bears Women and Exeter Chiefs Women.
But Worcester were able to score 50 of their own on Sunday to lift the mood at Sixways with a fifth win of the 2022/23 campaign.
The challenge will be significantly bigger this Saturday, however, as they face the daunting prospect of a trip to title-chasing Gloucester-Hartpury Women.
