The scheme is a significant milestone in the development of a multifaceted community sports and leisure facility in the heart of the Worcestershire countryside.

The images show the original plan for Worcester City's new stadium (below), which will include a 565-seater main stand and room for just over 600 behind one of the goals.

The proposed sports park has been designed to "enrich the lives of residents and visitors alike".

Key features of the project, include:

  • State of the art Football Pitch
  • Cricket Pitch
  • Ultra Modern Community Building
  • Eco Family Housing (homes that are energy efficient, affordable and ecological)
  • Retirement Living
  • A range of other community amenities

This project has been made possible by new City owner Simon Lancaster, who became majority shareholder of the football club back in May 2023.

City are currently tenants at the Worcestershire FA headquarters at Claines Lane, but are now planning an ambitious project to move out and have their own home for the first time since leaving St George's Lane in 2013.

In the past 11 years, City have ground shared with Kidderminster Harriers (Aggborough) and Bromsgrove Sporting (The Victoria Ground) before the move back into Worcester in 2020 .
