BOSS Duane Darby is ready to shuffle his pack as Bromsgrove Rovers prepare for two games in three days.
A British Gas Business Division One Midlands trip to Leighton on Saturday (3pm) is followed by Bank Holiday Monday’s home clash against much-fancied Leamington.
Rovers are desperate to establish themselves as early promotion contenders after Damion Jarrett’s goal handed them their first win of the season in a 1-0 triumph at Bedworth on Tuesday.
Darby is set to be without Luke Reynolds and Chris Cornes through suspension on Saturday, while injured striker Dean Curtis is unlikely to be ready for action.
With the fixtures coming thick and fast, the Rovers boss says he has no qualms about turning to his squad players.
Darby said: “Like I have said before, every member of the squad will get their chance.
“We have three games in a week and the squad of players will come into play over those three games. The same 11 players will not be able to play all of them.”
Darby voiced his anger over Saturday’s 1-0 home defeat to Bury Town, labelling his team’s first-half display as “a joke” and “a shambles”.
However, he believes his side will not look back after their first win was chalked up.
He added: “Everyone needs a win to get things going. The first few games throw up some silly results.”
After completing the signing of left-back Davion Hamilton from Halesowen last week, Darby revealed he is chasing another new face, but would not be drawn on his identity.
However, defender Gary Knight has taken the shock decision to retire from football just days after the new campaign got under way.
Knight joined the club from Halesowen Town last season and made 31 appearances.
