WESTFIELDS registered their first Midland Alliance win of the season by thrashing Racing Club Warwick 6-0.

It also set up Fields for their important FA Cup preliminary round tie with Stratford Town on Saturday.

They were led to victory by top-scorer Mark Davis who grabbed a hat-trick to take his tally to seven.

Fields opened up well and Danny Hill set up Davis who slammed Westfields ahead in the 21st minute.

They increased their lead when Sam Harrison got on the end of a Davis cross to neatly volley home a classic goal.

Bryan Watkins saved twice from Martin Crawford at the other end before Davis raced in to flick home Jamie Edwards’ free-kick.

Just before half-time, Hill chased a through-ball from Daniel Moon and neatly lobbed the advancing keeper.

After the break, Davis provided a perfect pass for Hill to put Fields 5-0 ahead.

Davis completed his hat-trick after Harrison and Paul Allan combined well.

Meanwhile, Pegasus Juniors beat Harrow Hill 1-0 in the Hellenic League Premier Division to register their first win of the campaign.

A goal mid-way through the second-half from Cory Hyde was sufficient to gain three points for the Hereford side from a scrappy contest.

They had lost their previous Premier Division game 3-1 at Kidlington with Hyde on target.

On Saturday, Juniors entertain newcomers Reading Town (3pm).
