LUCTONIANS moved into the second round of the EDF National Trophy with a 25-13 home success over Kettering, however, Hereford’s road to Twickenham ended at the opening hurdle bowing out to Flyde 30-10.
Bromsgrove cruised through their first round Intermediate Cup clash against Wellingbor-ough 65-5, while Stourport edged their Junior Vase third round Midlands match with Bredon Star 15-14, but Evesh-am crashed out in the South West section 30-0 at St Bernad-ettes Old Boys.
Ledbury eased their way into the third round of the Senior Vase with a 50-0 success at home to Leek, while Kidderminster made it throu-gh with a 21-15 success against Willenhall.
