TERRY Jenkins crashed out of the PDC’s PartyPoker.net Dutch Darts Trophy in the second round to former BDO world champion Jelle Klaasen.
The Dutch master put in a nine-dart finish in the 3-2 victory in Leiden on Saturday and then the Bull had to face Klaasen the following day in the Players’ Championship at same venue.
Despite the chance to avenge the defeat, Jenkins again went down 3-2. On Saturday, the Bull beat Peter Wright 3-1 in the first round to set up the second round meeting with Klaasen, while the following day Jenkins saw off Erwin Extercatte 3-0 to set-up the rematch.
