COBRAS Tae Kwon Do students Alex and Matthew Dowson impressed in the Verve UK Open at the Wyre Forest Glades Leisure Centre, Kidderminster.

Both took first place in the patterns section, while Alex won his individual sparring division after triumphing at the ITS British Championships recently.

There were also successes in Kidderminster for Kevin Smith, who was second in both junior black belt sparring and patterns divisions. Emily Craddock was third in her patterns category.

Cobras meet in Worcester, Crowle and Peopleton and are led by chief instructor Leo Withers.
