STOURPORT Women Fourths have managed to turn their Worcestershire Division Two season around in their final two matches.

They beat Redditch seconds 4-0 on home soil following a double booking on the Redditch pitch.

Once the match did begin, it was an evenly balanced affair, both sides pushing for the opening goal.

Stourport took the lead through captain Teri Baron after 15 minutes before Chris Corcoran picked the ball up on the 25-yard line, from a short corner.

She slotted an excellent pass back to Alex Totney on the right of the ‘D’ who finished it off with a goal.

Baron added her second of the match just before half-time to send Stourport in 3-0 up.

The hosts began the second period poorly allowing Redditch to push forward, forcing goalkeeper Tallie Shaw into action.

However, Stourport hit back and sealed victory 10 minutes from time with a goal from Corcoran.

Mel Turley was player-of-the-match.

The Thirds slumped to an 8-0 defeat at the hands of Cresconi-ans Firsts.

Jade Marshall-Walker was Stourport’s player-of-the-match.

Stourport Under 18s performed well at the Boys’ National Cup.

Langley Park showed promise early on as they brushed aside Southampton 3-0 in their first match.

However, when Southampton beat Old Loughtonians 2-1 and Stourport defeating Langley Park 3-1, the cup was still up for grabs.

However, Stourport narrowly went down 3-2 to eventual champions Southampton.

Old Loughtonians’ Harry Kempe scored a hat-trick as his side beat Langley Park 3-1.
