WORCESTER wing Samantha Bree has won a place in the England Under 20 squad that will compete in the Nations Cup women’s rugby tournament at Brunel Uni-versity in West London from July 9-18.

England are the reigning Nations Cup champions and are again expected to do well with home advantage on their side.

The USA are new entrants to the tournament and they will open their championship campaign against Wales on July 9. England take on Canada, a side they defeated twice last season, on the same day.

Nicola Ponsford, the RFUW head of performance, said: “The U20 Nations Cup represents a fantastic opportunity to play against the best U20 teams in the world.

“The tournament introduces players to the pressures of international rugby in a format that replicates the World Cup.”
