Celebration plans for Hallow’s centenary

HALLOW Lawn Tennis Club is 100 years old this year and is celebrating its centenary with a programme of events at the club next Saturday.

The programme starts at 2.30pm and includes a display of the history of the club from its first meeting up to the present time.

There will be a display of the coaching and games for both junior and senior players and an exhibition match by the coaching team.

There will also be tea, birthday cake and a pig roast. All past members of the club, 100 club and those that have been associated with the social functions are welcome to attend.

If anyone has old photos or newspaper articles the club would be interested in seeing these either on the day or before.
