WORCESTERSHIRE skipper Vikram Solanki has become the patron of Worcestershire Women’s and Girl’s Cricket Development Group.
The development group organises and runs the women and girls cricket throughout clubs and schools in the county, providing age group cricket for girls at under 13s, 15s and 17s as well as a senior team and various competitions for schools and clubs.
Solanki said “I am honoured to have been asked to be patron of Worcestershire Women’s and girls’ Cricket. The England Women team are hugely successful and are a huge inspiration.”
