WORCESTER Warriors dir-ector of rugby Mike Ruddock has revealed there will be no stellar signings arriving at Sixways following the conclusion of the Super 14 season.
He said: “There is a little bit of money available because we always leave a cushion in case we need it.
“It isn’t a significant pot to go out and sign a superstar player, though, so if we did go back into the market it would probably just be to cover injuries.
“We’d look to get players in who could do a job for us, rather than a significant signing.”
Ruddock has also ruled out a move for the Bradford Bulls’ Fijian wing Semi Tadulala, who has been link-ed with a Sixways switch.
He added: “It is that time of year when everyone is starting to look towards players who could be out there, but I can quite honestly say I haven’t considered that lad.”
