JOE Carlisle, the rookie Worcester fly-half, has joined Championship outfit Coventry on loan.
The inconsistent stand-off has been overtaken by George Crook in the Worcester pecking order and has joined Phil Maynard's team on a temporary basis.
Carlisle, who threw a costly interception pass against Montpellier in his last first XV outing, appears to have fallen out of favour with rugby director Mike Ruddock.
The Warriors boss chose former Bromsgrove School pupil Crook to start against minnows Olympus Rugby XV Madrid at the weekend, with Carlisle having to settle for a place on the bench.
