NORTH Midlands Under 19s will take a commanding 62-10 lead into the second leg of their defence of the Sable's Head Trophy against Warwickshire at Broadstreet RFC, near Coventry, tonight (7.30pm).

The county side scored 10 tries in their first leg victory at Droitwich two weeks ago and should retain the historic trophy, a mounted antelope's skull, which is decided by the aggregate scores over the two games.

North Mids have reshuffled their squad for the second leg to give game time to squad members and a chance for them to press their claims for inclusion in the under 20 side for the National Under 20 Championship, which gets underway after Christmas.
