ARDEN Sailing Club’s Val Jolly claimed the ladies’ trophy after winning the eighth and final race of the series.
Jolly, in her Heron, held off the challenge of Jane Smee in the club comet.
Ten boats took part in the 12th race in the pursuit series Ralph Evans (Solo) finishing ahead of Jolly’s Heron. Stuart Stephen was third and Niall Campbell fourth.
The last race of the day was the Arden Burgee, again featuring 10 boats. Campbell and Smee (Enterprise) were the first boat home, while Evans (Solo) was second ahead of Stephen (Enterprise). Alan Browning (Solo) took fourth spot with, Alan Salerman (Enterprise) in fifth.
