BROMSGROVE Rovers boss John Snape hopes to have Marlon Walters and Kevin Banner back for the visit of Biggleswade Town in Zamaretto League Division One Midlands on Saturday (3pm).

Walters has been suspended and fellow midfielder Banner injured as both missed the 0-0 draw at Soham Town Rangers.

Snape said it was a decent result and performance at Soham but admitted he would be glad to have a few players back.

He said: “We have missed Marlon and Kevin in recent weeks and it will be good to have them back, along with Dexter Ravenhill who should return in the next fortnight.”

Forward Ravenhill will complete his 35-day ban picked up for a sending off in a Sunday league game.

Snape has put in a seven-day approach for midfielder Nick Porter of Market Drayton.

Meanwhile, recent signing from Shifnal Town, midfielder Alex Woodhouse, is set to play for an England side against the Rest of the World in a special charity game tonight.

The Heroes Cup will feature a mixture of serviceman, celebrities and former professionals playing at Reading FC to raise money for the Help for Heroes fund.

Woodhouse, a corporal in the RAF, is expected to team up with Paul Gascoigne, Les Ferdinand, Andy Cole and Des Walker.
