MALVERN face the toughest derby of their season when they travel to Bromsgrove tomorrow in National Three Midlands (2.15pm), according to director of rugby Dave Robins.

Ahead of a home league date with Hereford seven days later, the Spring Lane side go to the fourth-placed Boars looking to maintain their recent upturn in fortunes.

Robins hopes his charges can hit form in their four games before the Christmas break with clashes against Kenilworth and Kettering following the derby double.

Malvern have a clean bill of health as Dominic Horne, John Clark, Jay Martin, Phil Rawle, Gareth Taylor, Richard Fleming and David Smith all return.

Robins said: “The Bromsgrove match is going to be a big one. We’ve got to be totally focused and step up to the plate and do our best.
