HEREFORD United manager John Trewick is hoping his team can rediscover their home form when they host Lincoln City tonight (7.45).
The Bulls have lost their last three encounters at Edgar Street — 4-1 against Milton Keynes Dons in the Johnstone’s Paint trophy southern semi-final on Tuesday, 2-0 to Notts County in League Two and 1-0 to Colchester United in the FA Cup.
“Until the last couple of games, the home form has been acceptable as far as I’m concerned but that’s history.”

Prior to that, however, United were undefeated in 10 games on home soil, winning five times in the league on the way.
It is that form Trewick is striving for as the Bulls welcome an Imps outfit hovering one place above the relegation zone and without a league win since October 10.
The Hereford boss said: “We have lost a few games of late.
“We have played decent football but lost because we have given sloppy goals away through a lack of concentration.
“Until the last couple of games, the home form has been acceptable as far as I’m concerned but that’s history.
“We are where we are, having lost a couple of matches, and we need to try and turn it around as quickly as we can.
“We are focused on the game against Lincoln.”
The match will be played under the Edgar Street floodlights, having been brought forward to maximise the crowd with tomorrow being the last Saturday before Christmas.
Trewick believes there will be a better atmosphere in the ground as a result but admits it has come at the price of sacrificing some of their preparation time.
He said: “Traditionally over the years, crowds are down on the Saturday before Christmas and, with the credit crunch situation, it’s difficult enough.
“I always like a match under the light. I think it does add to the atmosphere but it’s a double-edged sword because we played on Tuesday and the game is coming 19 hours sooner so we have not got quite as much time to recover and prepare.”
Hereford will continue to be without defender Danny Blanchett and midfielder Edrissa Sonko as both are suffering with groin injuries.
Defender Richard Rose is rated 50-50 as he continues to recover from a virus.
However, former youth teamer Tyler Weir made his debut at left-back against MK Dons in mid-week and could find himself called on again.
Trewick said: “Tyler made his debut and did a fine job, he can be happy. He will be in the squad and available just in case and it wouldn’t worry me putting him in.”
Lincoln boss Chris Sutton will be looking for his team to find some form of their own ahead of next month’s FA Cup third round clash at Premiership Bolton Wanderers.
