A DAN Polan goal was enough to steer Stourport Swifts to a 2-1 home win over Marlow in Zamaretto League Division One Midlands.

Chris Cornes grabbed Swifts’ opener after just 15 minutes when he seized on to a long ball from Nathan Jukes.

Marlow equalised on 37 minutes through Yashwa Romeo, but Polan grabbed the winner in the 77th minute to earn his side the three points.

Bromsgrove Rovers are third-from-bottom in Division One Midlands after they crashed to a 3-0 defeat at fourth-placed Burnham.

A Denis Fenemore brace and a further strike from Ross Lafayette sealed a poor away day for Bromsgrove.
