MANAGER Paul West wants his Evesham United players to pull together in their struggle for points.
The Robins have not won in 2010 and head to Oxford City in the Zamaretto League Premier Division tonight (7.45) with just two points from their last 10 games.
They also look set to be without defender Danny Hodnett and captain Steve Lutz (both hamstring) and midfielder Mark Hands (ankle).
West has called on his Robins to roll their sleeves up and improve on 17th position in the table.
He said: “These things happen and that’s the challenge in front of us. We can either go about it with our heads down or we can fight.
“It’s my job to make sure the players are focused and work hard. This is the time for everybody to pull together.”
He added: “It’s another tough game but we have got to try and register some points in every game now. The one thing we have is expectation which has been created over the years with promotion.
“It’s very close for comfort in the league but it’s in our hands. It’s been a horrendous 2010 in terms of results but we must still have that belief.”
Meanwhile, Bromsgrove Rovers visit Romulus in Division One Midlands tonight (7.30) looking to bounce back from a 1-0 defeat at bottom club Aylesbury.
Westfields go to Highgate United in the Aspire Midland Alliance (7.45) after Richard Kear and Daryl Addis (2) handed them a 3-2 win at Biddulph on Saturday.
