A ‘CRISIS’ game awaits Malvern in National Three Midlands tomorrrow, according to Spring Lane director of rugby Dave Robins.
The Worcestershire outfit travel to already-relegated Bedford Athletic (3pm) and Robins says victory is vital as his side look to bounce back from the crushing 53-0 loss to leaders Ampthill.
Injury-hit Malvern’s cause hasn’t been helped after they were dealt a triple blow with full-back Richard Fleming (groin), loosehead prop Dominic Murphy (shoulder) and scrum-half David Hadkiss (unavailable) all missing.
Number eight Jay Martin has been ruled out for the rest of the season after suffering a broken leg against Ampthill.
Robins said: “Tomorrow is a crisis game for us. We’ve got to go down there and do the business.”
