ON-song Scott Jackson scored his fifth goal in as many games to give Westfields a 1-0 Aspire Midland Alliance win over Boldmere St Michaels.

Jackson produced a superb 20-yard free-kick in the 70th minute. He was also in fine form in defence as the sixth-placed side bagged their fourth consecutive league win.

Fields visit Alvechurch tonight in the league (7.45).

Hartpury College keeper Dean Mundy made his debut in Malvern Town’s 3-1 home defeat to Coventry Sphinx.

Depleted Town were two goals behind at half-time but reduced the deficit seven minutes into the second period through Troy Wood.

However, a third strike 13 minutes from time secured Sphinx three points.

Malvern head to Causeway United tonight (7.45).
