THERE is a strong Worcester influence in the England Women’s ‘A’ pack for Friday’s clash with France ‘A’ at the Stade Vellodrome in Rennes (4.15pm).
Prop laura Keates and hooker Same Reeve make up two-thirds of the front row, while Gemma Sharples also starts at openside flanker. Sixways second row Jenny Brightmore and scrum-half Sarah Guest are among the replacements.
Head coach Mike Barnett is sticking to essentially the same core squad of players that won their last three matches. They defeated Spain 10-5 and inflicted two wins on the Nomads, beating them 12-10 in February and then 26-7 last weekend.
