OFFENHAM Rovers took a huge step towards survival in Division Two of the Birdseye Sports Evesham Sunday League with victory at basement club Bredon.
Malone scored for the home team, but Rovers responded through Whittaker, Jordan and Puttock to take the points.
Eckington’s promotion hopes took another blow with A 2-1 defeat at Stour Excelsior. Harris and Mumford scored for Stour, while Bostock was on target for Eckington.
Broadway United Reserves are running out of games as they fight to stay up in Division Three. A poor display saw Wickhamford Sports run out comfortable winners with goals from Boulton (2), Morgan, Hutton, Griffiths and Greenwood.
Fish & Anchor remain third in Division Four following victory at Badsey. Charman (2), Sutherland, Dovey and Higginbottom scored for the Anchor, Corr and Russell replied for Badsey.
Upton Snodsbury closed the gap at the top of Division One with victory in the derby at Crowle.
Woods, Aldington and Rogers scored for Upton, with Oliver replying for Crowle.
Division One sides Golden Cross, Broadway United, Bretforton Old Boys and Red Horse reached the last four of the Evesham Hospital Junior Cup. In the Minor Cup, Tesco United, Cidermill, Honeybourne Gate Inn, Black Bear, Bengeworth Sports, Alderton, Defford/Besford Utd and Vauxhall all reached the last eight.
