HEREFORD United are hoping that some of England international and Aston Villa winger Ashley Young’s talent has rubbed off on his younger brother Lewis.
The Edgar Street side have snapped up the 20-year-old for a month from Coca-Cola Championship outfit Watford.
The striker was on target for the Hornets in their reserve clash with Ipswich Town earlier in the week.
Young, who is will go straight into tomorrow’s matchday squad for the visit of Bradford City (3pm), is highly rated at Vicarage Road and has made three Carling Cup appearances and one league substitute outing.
Bulls chairman and caretaker manager Graham Turner said: “He’s a very quick striker or wide player. he can score goals and we’re delighted to have him here.
“His attitude has been great, we’ve not had to convince him to come here, he’s jumped at the chance to join us.”
Young could one of a number of new faces Turner brings iin before the closing of the emergency loan window shuts on Thursday.
With the Bulls languishing dangerously close to the drop zone in League Two, Turner will be keen that his side don’t suffer a second relegation in two seasons.
