WORCESTER City Women bid to retain the Herefordshire and Worcestershire Cup against Ferndale tomorrow.
The West Midlands Regional Women’s League rivals go head-to-head at Bromsgrove Rovers (2.30pm) City currently top the Premier Division and reached the final with an 18-0 thrashing of Hereford Lads Club.
Division One South side Ferndale secured their place with victories over Fairfield Villa and Evesham United.
Worcester are riding the crest of a wave in their first season in the top-flight and boss Graham Abercrombie is delighted with their efforts.
He said: “All the players have responded brilliantly to the new challenge of playing at this higher level and the entire squad, which has a wonderful mix of experience and youth, has taken massive strides forward during the course of this season.”
