TWO of Worcester’s England women internationals Kat Merchant and scrum-half Sarah Guest will be making a guest appearance at the West Midlands Emerging Schools finals day at the adjoining Kings Norton RFC and Five Ways OE RFC grounds near Birmingham tomorrow.
The Sixways duo will be presenting prizes and also offering coaching advice during their visit.
Worcester’s Blessed Edward Oldcorne will be taking part in the girls tournament as representatives of the North Midlands region.
All of the participating schools will be playing as one of the countries who will be taking part in the World Cup, though none of them will play as England. Blessed Edward have been selected to play as New Zealand.
Merchant and Guest will be joined on the day by England flanker Sarah Hunter, an RFU community coach, who also plays for Lichfield.
