TERRY Jenkins travelled across the Atlantic for the World Series of Darts but bowed out to a familiar foe.
The Ledbury ace lost 6-3 in the second round to 13-time PDC world champion Phil Taylor who eventually beat his protégé Adrian Lewis 13-5 in the final.
Only one USA player reached the last 16 in Connecticut as Taylor emerged with the $100,000 first prize. Jenkins beat Timothy Grossman 6-4 at the first stage.
Jenkins faces Kevin Dowling in the Diamond Darts Midlands Masters at the Spring Meadow pub in Droit-wich tonight, while local player Dave Hon-ey takes on Lewis.
