WORCESTER Nomads' Sunday Firsts thrashed Stourbridge Social by 153 runs in their friendly match.
Ollie Flower (35) and Richard Millard put on 50 for the first Noamds wicket.
Good contributions from Tom Isaacs (24) and Guy Davies (31) helped maintain the momentum.
Then a mid-innings collapse was stemmed by Tom Longley who made 56no.
Some lusty blows from Jon Ingles and Matt Machichan allowed Nomads to post a total of 251 all out in 37.3 overs.
In reply Stourbridge were never in the chase and succumbed to 98 all out.
All five of the bowlers Nomads used took at least one wicket, with Ingles (3-8) and Machichan (2-19) being the pick.
The Seconds claimed a respectable draw against a very good Crowle side.
Crowle batted first and made a good start, reaching 50 off the first seven overs before declaring on 193-5.
In reply Nomads were struggling at 31-3, but Matt Humphreys (79) and Pip Sirrell (25no) helped to secure the draw with Nomads 30 runs short of victory.
