FANS’ favourite Kastytis Normantas will be back at Worcester Wolves next season.

The 6ft 3ins 24-year-old combo guard thrilled supporters with his speed and athleticism as Wolves turned the season around to finish just outside the play-offs.

“I’m very excited about Kastytis coming back,” director of basketball Paul James said.

“We only started to see his true potential towards the end of the season when he had some fantastic performances.”

The Lithuanian played in all 25 fixtures after Christmas, averaging 13 points-per-game and 17.2 in the last nine matches.

He finished second in the British Basketball League field goal shooting stats with a 69.4 per cent success rate.

Normantas also finished fourth in the steals stats with an average of 2.3-per-game.

He won a place in the BBL team of the week for his performance at home to Guildford Heat on March 20.
