KIDDERMINSTER Harriers will be looking for a new goalkeeper after releasing both Dean Coleman and Jasbir Singh.

The duo will not be offered fresh deals at Aggborough next season, meaning manager Steve Burr will be recruiting a new number one.

Harriers have also put striker Robbie Matthews up for sale in a bid to generate funds for the 2010/11 campaign but Burr is hopeful his budget may yet be increased.

He said: “I’ve had a meeting with the chairman and there are one or two things we’re working on that should become clearer over the next couple of weeks.

“The main thing will be looking at what we have available to us to spend and getting the very best for what our finances can stretch to, so it is important we wait and see what we will have to work with.

“There will be change — there has to be — but I know the chairman is working as hard as he possibly can on that side of things to give us the best possible chance and we’ll be ready for the start of the season.”

Harriers have also appointed Gary Whild as assistant manager following his departure from Redditch United.

John Finnigan, the previous deputy to Burr, will remain at the club as a player-coach.
