TERRY Jenkins tackles unbeaten Whyte and Mackay Premier League leader Phil Taylor tonight with his play-off hopes up in smoke.
More than 6,000 fans will pack into Newcastle’s Metro Radio Arena which hosts the penultimate night.
Taylor has already qualified for the play-off semi-finals but a defeat for Ledbury’s Jenkins to Raymond van Barneveld last week ended The Bull’s chances.
“In a way, I’m glad the pressure won't be on me,” said Taylor. “The other players are fighting for their lives and even though Terry can’t qualify he’s wanting to finish the season on a high so it will be a cracking game.”
Other fixtures: Adrian Lewis v Ronnie Baxter; Mervyn King v van Barneveld; James Wade v Simon Whitlock.
