WORCESTER Warriors have slashed their season ticket prices and tempted fans to stick by them in the Championship by offering a price freeze the following year should the club return to the Guinness Premiership.

A Sixways season ticket for the 2010/11 campaign will be at least 10 per cent cheaper than last term with renewal rates starting from £170 for adults and £105 for concessions in standing areas.

Prices for all other seating areas will also be reduced by at least 10 per cent.

Warriors supporters who buy a season ticket for the forthcoming foray into the Championship will be given the opportunity to renew their seat at the same price the following season.

Season ticket holders can sign up for renewal rates at any time before 5pm on Friday, August 6, but fans will need to make contact before 5pm on Thursday, July 1, to guarantee reserving their chosen seat in their selected stand at the cheaper rates.

“We have reduced season tickets for the Championship and are also pledging to fix this price for the following season for those who have committed to us during the Championship challenge,” said chairman Cecil Duckworth.

“Our aim is that this will be back in the Premiership so fans can enjoy top-flight rugby for the lowest price since our original promotion.”

Season ticket holders will gain entry to 17 home games at Sixways, including 11 Championship, three possible play-off matches, two British and Irish Cup matches and one friendly.
