BRITISH Basketball League club Worcester Wolves have completed a raid on the USA to sign 6ft 8ins forward Justin Dobbins.
The 22-year-old, born in Cleveland, Ohio, has just completed his senior year playing for the National Collegiate Athletic Association side Eastern Michigan Eagles.
Power forward Dobbins averaged 12 points, 5.9 rebounds, one assist, one block and one steal per outing last season.
He also hit 61.5 per cent of his shots from the field and 60 per cent from the charity stripe.
The talented big man enjoyed numerous double-double games with versatile in-the-paint and baseline moves.
His 399 rebounds, 776 points and 55 blocked shots all found their way into the Eastern Michigan career record books.
Dobbins, who reached double figures 39 times during his college career, also impressed against high-level opposition while at Eastern Michigan University.
