STEVE Griffiths manages Pegasus Juniors for the final time against Wokingham and Emmbrook on Saturday (3pm).
The boss’ departure by mutual consent was agreed at an extraordinary meeting of the Uhlsport Hellenic League Premier Division club’s board.
Former player and youth team coach Leigh Harris will be caretaker manager after tomorrow’s home game until an appointment is made.
Second-from-bottom Pegasus have lost every game so far this season, including a 9-1 thrashing by Abingdon Town and last Saturday’s 4-1 defeat at Kidlington.
A club statement said: “The board of directors wish to thank Steve for many years of dedicated service in the role.
“The team has done exceptionally well during his tenure and in particular during the historic FA Cup run last season when they beat two sides from higher divisions only to lose to Blue Square Bet North side AFC Telford.”
Applicants for the position of first-team manager should call director of football Mark Williams on 07815-144660.
