MALVERN have been relegated from Worcestershire League Division after losing their all-important clash at Colwall.
Both sides were battling against the drop going into this encounter but it was the hosts who walked away with a 67-run success.
Put into bat, Colwall posted 289 all out with Nick Panniers firing a fine 76, while Ben Wheeler was run out for 50.
Malvern’s Rob Francis struck 61 for his side but they were unable to prevent defeat, or the drop, as they were dismissed for 222.
