NEW Hereford United striker Guillem Bauza is looking forward to handing out a few lessons to npower League Two defences.

The 25-year-old Spaniard joined the Edgar Street side on a short-term contract last week following his release from Championship side Swansea City after three seasons.

The former Espanyol ‘B’ forward, who is also a qualified primary school teacher, scored on his debut for Simon Davey’s side in the 1-1 draw with Bury last weekend.

“It’s going really well for me at the moment and I’m looking to help Hereford move up the table,” said the striker, also known as Bussy.

“Having had an extra few days with the players here I feel I’m ready for today’s match with Southend.”

He was brought to the UK by current Wigan Athletic manager, and then Swans chief, Roberto Martinez three years ago.

Following his release from the Liberty Stadium he looked to move to London. But, after a trial with Lea-gue One side Charlton Athletic, Bussy rejected an offer to stay with the Addicks before arriving at Hereford.

“The offer wasn’t what I was expecting so I declined,” he explained. “Now I’m here at Hereford I want to show what I can do.

“It’s been a weird summer for me and I’m not looking too far ahead into the future.”
