TEENAGER Dan Keen produced a magnificent display to win his age group at the Bredon Triathlon.
The 17-year-old Worcester Triathlon Club member was a comfortable winner in two hours 22 minutes 50 seconds at Croft Leisure Park.
Keen completed the 1,300-metre two-lap lake swim in 17 mins 50 secs but slipped from second to seventh overall during the 50km bike section after being caught by a number of more experienced cyclists.
The youngster then produced the fastest run split of the day for the 10km run section, making up four places to finish third overall and almost 20 minutes ahead of the next athlete in his age category.
Michelle Parsons and Kevin May also finished fifth out of 19 teams at the inaugural Alpe D'Huez Triathlon in France earlier this month.
Phil Parsons finished 110th out of the 530 competitors in two hours 53 secs.
Tegan Parsons, aged 11, won the Alpe D'Huez childrens' triathlon.
