EVESHAM United’s poor run of results continued as they slipped to defeat to Zamaretto League Premier Division play-off chasers Leamington.

With only one win in six, the Robins looked to be holding the Brakes only for them to strike in the final minute of the match.

James Rowe made ground down the right before crossing to the back post where substitute Luke Corbett had the simple task of tapping home.

It was rough justice on Paul West’s side who deserved something for their efforts in a game that saw few chances at either end.

Evesham United: Vaughan, Watson, Hyde, Daniel, Jones (Pearce 45), Wilding, Blake, Mensah, Brown (Palmer 32), Shaze, Accam. Subs not used: Spencer, Clarke, Skyers.

Attendance: 268.
