Bransford Golf Club’s ladies’ section held their Bader Salver competition, which produced an extremely tight finish with just one point separating the first three pairings.
Following count-back, the duo of Leigh Thomas and Jodie Bennett finished first with Sheila Richards and Jenny Musson runners-up after both pairs had scored 37 points.
Third place went to Barbara Ramsden and Lesley Lammas with 36 points.
The club’s senior men visited the picturesque Shropshire course of Cleobury Mortimer and returned with a close-fought 3½-2½ victory.

Richard Miller won Division One of Droitwich Golf and Country Club’s monthly medal.
