BREDON ‘E’ won the Worcestershire section of the English Women’s Bowling Association Benevolent Triples at Cripplegate Park.
The team, skipped by county treasurer Margaret Compton, triumphed 23-4 over Cripplegate and there result will now be submitted to Bowls England to find the team with the best overall shots difference nationally.
In the semi-finals, Bredon edged out St Dunstan’s ‘A’ 14-13, while Cripplegate received a bye as Black Country ‘C’ withdrew through illness.
