WORCESTER Croquet Club are well on the way to winning the ‘B’ League of the South West Federation.
In the Norton-based club’s latest game at Swindon, secretary Kathy Holland won the decisive contest.
After a gruelling six hours, the teams were tied at 2-2, meaning Holland had a crucial role to play on the field.
As time was called, she won by 17 hoops to 16 to boost their title hopes.
