KIDDERMINSTER Harriers host Braintree Town tonight (7.45) intent on getting their season back on track.

The Aggborough side have dropped to 11th in the Blue Square Bet Premier table after taking just one point from their last three games.

They lost 1-0 at Darlington last Saturday and, despite being without six key players, assistant manager Gary Whild was less than impressed with the display.

Harriers will again be without right-back Lee Vaughan, as he serves the second of a three-game ban, centre-half Luke Jones (calf), left-back Mike Williams (hip) and keeper Danny Lewis (knee).

In addition, Dave Hankin is still out with an ankle problem, while fellow midfielder Jack Byrne has only just been released from hospital following a sickness bug.

However, Whild is still expecting an improvement against eighth-placed Braintree, who have not won in four games following six successive victories, as Harriers bid for their third home win of the season.

He said: “It was a poor game on Saturday and they scored from a set-piece, which was the only way they were going to score, but we were disappointed with our side of it.

“We didn’t play anywhere near what we are capable of and we will be looking to put that right.

“Braintree had a fantastic start after promotion last year and maybe it’s caught up with them but it’s a home game for us and you are always looking to win your home games.”

Stourport Swifts host Sholing tonight (7.45) looking to build on Saturday’s 4-4 draw at Taunton Town in Evo-Stik Southern League Division One South and West.

Defender Benoit Dalibard has extended his stay at Hereford United until the middle of January, having originally penned a short-term deal with the Bulls in August following his release from French outfit Guingamp.
