STEVE Burr is ready to strengthen his Kidderminster Harriers squad for a play-off push in 2012.

Monday sees the January transfer window openand the Aggborough manager is poised to be busy.

Burr has identified players he would like to add to his ranks to keep up their challenge.

Harriers have been linked to former Tamworth defensive midfielder Dan Bradley.

“We have got a few targets we would like to bring in to strengthen the squad and hopefully we will be able to do that,” said Burr, whose side visit Forest Green Rovers tomorrow (3pm).

There could also be players leaving Aggborough.

Bids have already been turned down from League Two outfit Northampton Town for eight-goal leading scorer Jamille Matt and Burr is aware of others being monitored.

He added: “When you are scoring regularly like he (Matt) is doing and with the performances he’s putting in as a young kid, he’s going to attract attention.

“I know there’s a lot of clubs watching him, which is good, but there are clubs watching one or two others as well.”
