RICHIE Gordon continues to set himself out as one of the players of the season after being named in the British Basketball League team of the week for the seventh time.
A tower of strength for title-chasing Worcester Wolves, Gordon was his typically powerful self as he recorded a fine double-double in the 64-61 home win against Glasgow Rocks last Saturday. The American forward chalked up 26 points and 14 rebounds to maintain his impressive rookie season in the league.
Gordon is joined in the elite five by Sheffield Sharks duo Jimmy Langhurst and Mike Tuck, as well as Paul Gause of Newcastle Eagles and Guildford Heat’s Mike Martin.
