KIDDERMINSTER Harriers striker Nick Wright is mulling over several offers from Blue Square Bet Premier clubs as he bids to sort out his future.

The 24-year-old scored 17 goals for the Aggborough outfit last season as they fell short of the play-offs.

He is now out of contract and, although Harriers have made him an offer, talks are ongoing with a number of the club’s rivals.

Wright, who joined Kidderminster in July 2010 following a spell at Tamworth, said: “At the moment, it’s a matter of keeping my options open.

“Several of the top clubs in the Conference, like Harriers, have contacted me.

“I don’t want this to go on too long, I want to get this sorted. I am about to become a father so it’s not just about me any more. I have a family to think about.

“In the past I could concentrate on myself but that has changed.”

Harriers will also be keen for Wright to make a decision as their squad building for the 2012-13 campaign continues to gather pace.

The addition of Hednesford Town defender Cheyenne Dunkley has taken the number of players currently signed to 16.

But Harriers’ out-of-contract centre-half Luke Jones, 25, has ended his second spell at Aggborough by returning to former club Mansfield Town.

Jones revealed: “I never really wanted to leave the club so I’m relishing this return.”
