UPDATE: Amy Smith beat an American and an Icelandic swimmer in her swim-off, clocking 24.82 seconds to make tonight's 50m freestyle semi-final.
KIDDERMINSTER ace Amy Smith's 50-metre freestyle semi-final hopes at the London Olympics rest on a swim-off with two other competitors.
She was equal 16th fastest with the duo and there is only one place available in tonight's semis for them.
