Sixth and eighth for Alison Young in Olympic sailing

UPDATE: Alison Young has just managed eighth position in race eight which was won by Belgium's Evi Van Acker.

ALISON Young finished sixth in race seven of the Laser Radial sailing in the London Olympics.

The Bewdley competitor, fourth overall before the day's racing, finished behind Lijia Xu (China), leader Annalise Murphy (Ireland), Sari Multala (Finland), Marit Bouwmeester (Holland) and Alicia Cebrian Martinez De Lagos (Spain).
