Rachel Bragg's Great Britain volleyball team suffer Olympic blow

KIDDERMINSTER volleyball star Rachel Bragg saw Great Britain's qualification hopes for the Olympic knock-out stages dwindle.

The 27-year-old took on the Dominican Republic at Earls Court with GB occupying the fourth and final last-eight spot in group ‘A’.

However, the team ranked 11th in the world clearly felt they had a point to prove, running away in straight sets 25-9, 25-18, 25-19 for their first win at the 2012 Olympics.

They pushed the hosts down a place into fifth, currently outside of a quarter-final berth.
